2021 (Track & Field): Clocked a 9:41.16 on Feb. 13 in the indoor 3000 at the GVSU Big Meet… Had his best outdoor 800 on May 14 at the MVC Championships, finishing in 2:05.26… Had his best outdoor 1500 on April 16 at the Gibson Invitational, turning in a 4:11.54.

2020-21 (Cross Country): Did not compete in the MVC Championship, the team’s lone race of the season.

Prep (Athletic): Was his school’s cross country MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior… Placed third at the Puerto Rico High School Athletic Alliance (PRHSAA) championship race as a sophomore and received the all-alliance team award…. As a senior, won the PRHSAA championship race and broke the course record… Was named the top runner in the league and again earned all-alliance honors following his senior season… Has also participated in basketball, volleyball and beach tennis.

Personal: Hobbies include calisthenics, spike ball and rock climbing… Intends to major in exercise science… Son of Jennifer Irizary and Jose Nogueras… Has two siblings, Marena and Alana… Has a deep passion for sports and also enjoys dancing.
