2022 (Track & Field): Did not see meet action during the 2022 track & field season... Earned Valparaiso University Presidential Academic honors.

2021 (Cross Country): Made his season debut with a 20:04.2 in the 6K at the Valparaiso Winrow Open on Sept. 3... Followed with a 27:23.9 in the 8K at the Illinois State Invite on Sept. 17... Finished the 8K in 27:42.3 at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 15.

2021 (Track & Field): Did not compete… Member of MVC Academic Honor Roll.

2020-21 (Cross Country): Did not compete in the MVC Championship, the team’s lone race of the season.

Prep (Athletic): Finished fourth in his region 5K, first in region 1600, fourth in region 800, seventh in the section 1600 and 13th in 5A state 1600… During his senior season, he was first at all cross country meets prior to the state finals, where he placed 10th in the 5A 5K… Had placed first in the region 5K and was an all-state runner… Boasts the following personal records – 16:31.14 in 5K, 4:36.68 in 1600m, 2:03.65 in 800 and 10:36.25 in 3200.

Prep (Academic/Community Service): Member of National Honor Society and the principal’s honor roll…. Graduated with honors and received the Georgia certificate of merit.

Personal: Played cello and enjoys wood turning and working at the Georgia Southern Botanical Garden… Majoring in engineering… Also enjoys bonsai growing, tinkering with cars, eating, building/creating and baking… Once biked 75 miles to go to the beach… Designed a four-way headphone splitter in middle school… Favorite food is Ethiopian… Has spent many hours over the past few years working to restore a wetlands behind his house by removing invasive species and replacing them with native ones… Chooses which cars he likes mostly by their tail lights… Planning on doing a backyard half marathon which will consist of 500 loops on a 42.2-meter figure eight course… Son of Frank D’Arcangelo and Lissa Leege… Has one brother, Emory.
