Michael Kinsella inks golf NLI
Golf coach David Gring announced the signing of Michael Kinsella.

Valparaiso golf coach David Gring has announced that Michael Kinsella has signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf for the Crusaders beginning in the fall of 2013.

Kinsella, a native of Northbrook, Ill., carries a USGA handicap of +1, and he has a 4.0 grade point average during his senior year at Glenbrook North High School.

"I have been very impressed with Michael's determination, ambition, and focus, both in the classroom and on the golf course,” Gring said. “He brings a great ‘team player’ attitude to our team, and he will be a very good fit within our team."

Playing on the Plantations Junior Golf Tour, Kinsella has recorded two first-place finishes and has been ranked in the top five in the nation on the PJGT. He also has three top-10 finishes on the Indiana Junior Golf Tour, and he has Web.com Tour experience, shooting a 75 in his first Web.com Tour qualifying event.

"Michael brings a tremendous amount of tournament experience and success, with his play over the past four-plus years,” Gring said. “He will certainly be an impact player for us for many years."
