Oscar Lomeli earned Second Team All-Horizon League accolades for the second straight year.

Senior forward Oscar Lomeli (Jalisco, Mexico/ [Bethel (Ind.)]) was named a Second Team All-Horizon League honoree for the second straight season, while junior midfielder Rodolfo Lucas (Mogi Mirim, Brazil/ [Coffeyville C.C.]) and freshman goalkeeper Kyle Zobeck (Coralville, Iowa/Iowa City West) were each honored as part of the league’s All-Newcomer Team as the Horizon League announced its year-end awards on Thursday....Full Story

Crusaders Take 3-0 Win on Senior Day

Paul Leitelt scored the match-winner Sunday for his second goal in as many matches.

On Senior Day at Brown Field Sunday, all six Valparaiso seniors took to the pitch as part of the starting 11, and it was senior Paul Leitelt (Munster, Ind./Munster) who scored the eventual match-winning goal in the 55^th minute as the Crusaders earned a 3-0 victory in Horizon League play over Detroit to close the regular season....Full Story

Crusaders Fall to #13 UIC, 2-1

Paul Leitelt notched his third goal of the year early on Friday.

Senior Paul Leitelt (Munster, Ind./Munster) gave Valparaiso a lead on #13 UIC in Horizon League action at Brown Field Friday afternoon in the 14^th minute, but the Flames tallied the equalizer less than six minutes later and scored the eventual match-winner midway through the second half to earn a 2-1 victory over the Crusaders....Full Story

Crusaders Close Out Regular Season With Two Contests at Brown Field

Kyle Zobeck is currently on pace to set Valpo's single-season goals against average record.

Valparaiso returns home this weekend for the final two matches of the regular season, hosting #13 UIC on Friday afternoon before closing out the regular season against Detroit on Sunday afternoon.
