Crusader Men to Face Western Illinois in Mid-Con Tournament

The Valparaiso University men's soccer team will play Western Illinois in the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament semifinals on Friday, November 15 in Rochester, Michigan.

The Crusaders, appearing in their first Mid-Con Tournament since 1998, will play at 10:30 a.m. CST on the campus of Oakland University. The host Golden Grizzlies and UMKC will meet in the other semifinal at 1:30 p.m. CST, with the winners battling in the championship on Nov. 17 at 12 p.m. CST for the right to earn the NCAA Tournament berth.

Valpo fell to the Leathernecks 2-1 on Sunday afternoon in the school's regular season meeting held at Western Illinois.
