Due to a violation of team policies over the weekend, Valparaiso men’s soccer coach Mike Avery has decided to cancel tonight’s exhibition match at Goshen.  The match will not be made up.

“We are in the business of education, and this is a valuable opportunity for the team to learn an important lesson,” said Avery.  “Playing soccer here at Valparaiso is a privilege, and with that privilege comes responsibility.  If we fail to live up to that responsibility, the privilege will get taken away.”

The Crusader regular season commences Friday night at North Carolina State as part of the Wolfpack Classic.
