Ortiz, Mustangs Cap Historic Season with League Title

Former Crusader Adrian Ortiz led his current side, the Chicago Mustangs of the Professional Arena Soccer League, to a league title this past Sunday. The Mustangs captured the Ron Newman Cup by defeating Hidalgo La Fiera 14-5. In the match, Ortiz netted three goals on three shots.

With Ortiz serving as captain, the Mustangs completed the most successful season in PASL history; winning the regular season title, the Ron Newman Cup, and the U.S. Open Cup – all while staying unbeaten. The Mustangs are the only team in league history to accomplish such a feat.
