Men’s Soccer to Hold Fall ID Camp

The Valparaiso University men’s soccer team has announced that it will hold a Fall ID camp on Nov. 4 at the Athletics-Recreation Center and Brown Field.

The camp, which is open to high school students, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The purpose of this camp will be to provide college-bound soccer players an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities through exercises centered on speed of play, decision-making, competitiveness and team play, all while being evaluated by the Valpo men’s soccer coaching staff and other elite coaches from the college ranks.

In a high-intensity training environment similar to the environment they will experience at the college level, players will be engaged in smaller playing environments to maximize the amount of touches on the ball. This smaller playing environment will create greater opportunity for the prospective student-athletes to be involved and will show the coaches in attendance how the players perform in high-pressure situations.

The cost to register for the camp is $130 per player. For more information or to register, click here.
