The Valparaiso University men’s soccer team was handed an unfortunate break on Sunday as storms hit the Peoria, Ill. area with Valpo leading host Bradley 1-0 in the 66^th minute in Missouri Valley Conference men’s soccer.

Valpo was hoping to close out a victory after a goal by Jonas Engler (Illingen, Germany / Georg Kerschensteiner Scule), but the game was placed on a delay and later postponed. Since it did not reach the required 70 minutes to be considered an official game, Sunday’s play goes down as “no contest” and will have to be restarted.

The teams have announced that the game will be made up on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Valpo's Brown Field. The location of the Sunday, Oct. 27 meeting has been shifted from Valpo to Peoria, Ill.
