Donnie Hathorn joins the Crusader men’s soccer coaching staff in 2010 as a volunteer assistant.

Most recently, Hathorn spent two years on the coaching staff for the men’s soccer team at Regis University, serving as assistant coach while also having a stint as interim head coach. During that time, he helped coach four All-Region selections and organized and directed the Regis Soccer Academy.

Prior to his time at Regis, Hathorn served one year as assistant coach for the women’s squad at Northern Arizona University, working directly with the goalkeepers. He coached NAU’s starting keeper to the #11 spot nationally in save percentage in his one season with the Lumberjacks.

At both his previous two stops, Hathorn has also earned additional experience coaching youth soccer, coaching for Westminster SC in Colorado and Flagstaff SC in Arizona. He also served as an assistant coach for the Colorado ODP.

Hathorn played soccer collegiately at Siena College from 1999-2003, earning Academic All-Conference honors three times. He graduated from Siena in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing/management and earned his master’s from Northern Arizona in 2007 in business administration. Hathorn currently holds his NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
