2008: Played every minute in net during his rookie season for the Crusaders ... set Valpo’s then single-season goals against average record, posting a 1.47 GAA ... earned Horizon League All-Newcomer Team honors ... recorded five shutouts on the season, tied for second-most in a single year in Valpo history ... two of his clean sheets (Sept. 12 vs. Bradley, Oct. 26 at Michigan State) were against nationally-ranked foes, as he posted a 0.62 GAA in three matches against top-25 teams ... also allowed just one goal in four matches ... recorded 98 saves on the season ... ranked 25th in the nation with an average of 5.16 saves/match ... registered season-best eight saves on two occasions (Sept. 26 vs. Milwaukee, Nov. 2 vs. Detroit) ... also tallied seven saves in four other matches ... finished the year 4-3-1 in home matches, lowering GAA to 1.22 ... on the offensive side of the ball, registered an assist in victory over Western Michigan Sept. 21 with a long punt downfield ... earned valuable summer experience with the 2009 Iowa State Cup champion CRSA 89/90 side ... also played for the Des Moines Menace PDL.
