The Valpo men’s and women’s swimming teams were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA), as announced by the organization today.

The women’s team earned the accolade, based on the spring 2020 semester, for the fourth consecutive semester. Meanwhile, the men’s squad was named a Scholar All-America Team for the third straight semester

The CSCAA selected 789 teams from 461 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams for the spring 2020 semester. The teams were selected by the CSCAA’s Scholar All-America committee on the basis of their spring grade point averages and represent 17,982 student-athletes in total. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the spring semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
