The Valpo men’s and women’s swimming teams will kick off the spring 2021 schedule on Friday evening with a home meet against Rose-Hulman, the first of seven scheduled regular season meets as head coach Maggie Kroemer announced the team’s schedule today.

After Friday, Valpo competes once more in the month of January, swimming at the Butler Invitational Jan. 31.

Saturday, Feb. 6 is the first of back-to-back weekends against MVC foes, as Valpo heads to Indiana State for a tri-meet which also includes Bradley. The next weekend, the Valpo women swim at Illinois State. Valpo will then host its Senior Meet on Saturday, Feb. 27, a tri-meet against Butler and Eastern Illinois.

Mid-March sees Valpo compete on back-to-back days, as the Brown and Gold go to a tri-meet at Southern Illinois with Little Rock on Friday, March 12 and follow with a dual meet at Eastern Illinois on Saturday, March 13. The regular season comes to a close on Saturday, March 27 with a home meet against Southern Illinois.

The women’s season wraps up at the MVC Championship in Carbondale, Ill. April 14-16, while the Valpo men head to the Summit League Championship in West Fargo, N.D. April 15-17.
