The Valpo men’s and women’s swimming teams were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA), as announced by the organization Thursday.

The women’s team earned the accolade, based on the fall 2022 semester, for the ninth consecutive semester as the squad posted a 3.29 team GPA. Meanwhile, the men’s squad was named a Scholar All-America Team as well as it finished the semester with a 3.25 team GPA, earning the accolade for the fifth time in the last seven semesters.

The CSCAA selected teams from 479 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams on the basis of their fall semester grade point averages. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester.
