Valpo: Owns the second fastest time in the 1650 freestyle (17:02.32) ... third all-time for the Crusaders in the 1000 free (10:21.87) ... the fourth fastest all-time in the 500 free (4:54.25) ... holds the third quickest time in the 200 butterfly (2:02.00) ... a member of the third fastest 800 free relay in school history (7:09.76).

Prep: Captain of the Crusaders swim team ... a member of All-American relay teams ... a four-time All-State selection ... also played water polo where he was an All-State performer.

Personal: Neal is the son of Greg and Barbara Badgett ... major is finance ... born March 26, 1982.
