Lincoln: Finished second on the 800 freestyle relay at the NJCAA National Championships ... placed fifth in the 200 backstroke and sixth in the 100 back ... also was seventh at nationals in the mile.

Prep: A four-year letterwinner for the Boilermakers ... a member of the conference record-holding 200 medley relay ... Most Improved Swimmer as a sophomore ... six-time SICA champion ... team captain.

Personal: Eric is the son of Julie Girard ... major is journalism ... born May 15, 1984.
