The men's tennis team struggled to post positive results against some of the top competition in the region over the weekend as it competed at the Ball State Fall Invitational.

Freshman Mike Menghini (Iron Mountain, Mich./Iron Mountain H.S.) posted the lone singles victory for the Crusaders, winning 6-2, 6-3 in the back draw of the C Flight.

In doubles action, Nathan Gordon (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth H.S.) and Tyler Neemann (Manassas, Va./Stonewall Jackson H.S.) teamed for a first round win over Toledo 8-6.

The Brown and Gold will host four matches this coming weekend at Brown Courts. The weekend will begin on Friday with a 3 p.m. match against Wisconsin-Green Bay.
