Crusaders Set to Battle IUPUI in Mid-Con Semis

Valparaiso University's men's tennis team will take on regular season champion IUPUI on Friday morning in the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament to be held in Tulsa, Okla.

The Crusaders, the tournament's fourth seed, fell to the top-seeded Jaguars 5-2 this past Saturday. Valpo finished the regular season 3-3 in Mid-Con play and 6-14 overall. IUPUI was a perfect 6-0 in league play and 9-10 overall.

The match is set to begin at 10 a.m. and will be the first of two semifinal contests. Western Illinois, the second seed, and third-seeded Oral Roberts will meet in the other semifinal at 2 p.m.

Friday's winners will meet for the Mid-Con title on Saturday beginning at noon for the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament.
