POSITION Assistant Coach

Tim Shideler began as a  Crusader assistant coach in the 1999-2000 season.  He was a member of the Crusader staff during the 2002 Mid-Continent Conference regular season championship.

Shideler has been teaching tennis since completing the Vander Meer Tennis University in 1975.  For five years, he was the tennis professional and manager of the Northwest Racquet Club in Michigan City, Ind.

Prior to joining the Crusaders staff, Shideler had been the varsity boys and girls tennis coach at Valparaiso High School for eight seasons.  He is currently a certified tennis professional with both the USPTA and USPTR.

Shideler played his collegiate tennis at Indiana University.
