Steve Bartholomew (Valparaiso, Ind./Morgan Township) registered two top-20 finishes Saturday at the NCAA Mideast Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., while Chris Honig (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South [Indiana]) recorded a top-20 placement of his own as the duo represented the Crusader men’s track and field squad.

Bartholomew closed out his career with matching 19th-place showings in the hammer throw and discus throw.  The senior recorded a mark of 189’2” in the hammer throw, just over two feet outside of the top-15, and registered a toss of 170’10” in the discus throw.

Honig, who qualified for the regional meet in the 3,000m steeplechase by winning the Horizon League title in the event, completed the course Saturday in 9:33.81, good for a 19th-place finish.
