Steve Bartholomew (Valparaiso, Ind./Morgan Township) closed out the indoor season for Valparaiso Saturday at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., finishing 16th in the weight throw.

The senior registered a mark of 64’1 ¼” for his 16th-place finish.  Bartholomew ended the 2008 indoor campaign with seven victories in the weight throw in the ten meets he competed in, and placed in the top ten on nine occasions.
