2009 (Track and Field): Competed in the middle distances in his first year of competition for the Crusaders ... posted top times indoors of 2:10.84 in the 800m run and 4:37.86 in the one mile run ... outdoors, boasted season-best times of 2:05.41 in the 800m run and 4:16.51 in the 1,500m run ... earned a spot on the Horizon League Academic All-League squad during the indoor campaign ... member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll both semesters.

2008 (Cross Country): Competed twice for Valpo as a sophomore ... crossed the line in 22:26 at the season-opening Crusader Open, lowering his time over two and a half minutes from the previous year ... also ran at the Evansville Invitational, covering 8K course in 28:57.42 ... earned Horizon League Academic Honor Roll recognition for both the fall and spring semesters.

2008 (Track and Field): Did not compete during first season at Valpo.

2007 (Cross Country): Ran one time for the Brown and Gold during his freshman year ... took to the course at Sunset Hills Farm in season-opening Crusader Invitational, completing the 6K course in 24:59.

Prep: A four-year letterwinner for the Falcons ... earned team Most Valuable Runner honors as a junior ... received All-Conference accolades in 2005 ... won individual city championship in 2005 ... team won conference title in 2006 and city championship all four seasons ... also a four-year letterwinner in track and field ... a two-time Michigan Math Prize state finalist ... a member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Keith is the son of Rich and Julie Button ... major is mechanical engineering ... has earned Dean’s List honors all five semesters at Valpo ... born March 12, 1989.
