2009: Versatile athlete saw action in many events for the Crusaders as a freshman ... earned a place on the All-Horizon League squad with a second-place finish in the javelin throw at the Outdoor Championships (161’2") ... finished seventh or better in all four of his efforts in the javelin throw outdoors, including a top mark of 167’7" at the Stan Lyons Invitational ... also competed in the sprints ... posted Valpo’s best times indoors in the 60m dash (7.28 seconds) and outdoors in the 100m dash (11.64 seconds) ... was the second-best Crusader on the year in the 200m (23.34 seconds) and 400m (54.42 seconds) dashes, 60m hurdles (9.80 seconds) and the long jump (18’11 ¼”).

Prep: A four-year letterwinner for the Red Raiders ... a two-time USATF Region 2 decathlon champion ... USATF outdoor nationals qualifier ... two-time All-League honoree ... two-time Junior Olympic national qualifier ... twice named team MVP ... also earned five letters in wrestling ... a two-time All-League recipient on the mat ... named school’s Most Outstanding Wrestler ... third in school history in wins on the mat ... named Jamestown HS Athlete of the Year as a senior ... a member of National Honor Society.
