Valparaiso University's women's basketball program, known for their success both on the court and in the classroom, finished the 2005-2006 school year ranked 4th in the nation in NCAA Division I for team grade point average. This is the eighth straight season the Crusaders' team has been ranked in the top-25 on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Honor Roll. The Crusaders finished tied for 15th in the country for Division I in team grade point average one year ago in 2004-2005.
