Tuesday afternoon’s baseball game between Valparaiso and Purdue at the U.S. Steel Yard in Gary, Ind. has been cancelled due to steady rains in Northwest Indiana.

At this time the game has not been rescheduled.  Valparaiso (18-17, 6-6 Horizon) will return to the diamond on Saturday afternoon in Chicago with a Horizon League doubleheader against UIC beginning at 1:05 p.m.

Tickets for the Valpo-Purdue game can be used for either the Valpo-Northwestern contest on May 5 or the Valpo-RailCats exhibition game on May 12.
