Game #30 - Tuesday, February 26 - 7:05 p.m.
Youngstown State (16-12, 7-7 Horizon)
Athletics-Recreation Center (5,000) - Valparaiso, Ind.

Next Up in Crusader Basketball: For a group of six seniors taking to the court of the ARC for the final time in the regular season as Crusaders on Tuesday evening, you could not ask for anything more - the chance to clinch a second consecutive Horizon League regular season championship for Valparaiso on Senior Night against Youngstown State.

Last Time Out: The Valparaiso men's basketball team enjoyed its best shooting performance in over 15 years on Saturday afternoon, cruising to an 82-60 victory over Eastern Kentucky at the ARC in front of a national television audience on ESPNU as part of the Ramada BracketBusters series. The balanced offensive effort saw five Crusader players end the night with at least 10 points.

Head Coach Bryce Drew: Bryce Drew (44-19) is in his second season at the helm of the Valparaiso men’s basketball program in 2012-2013 after leading the Crusaders to the Horizon League regular season title in his first year as head coach. Drew was named the Horizon League Coach of the Year after guiding Valpo to a 22-win campaign, including a 14-4 mark within the league to capture the title by two games. Drew ascended to the head coaching position on May 17, 2011 after spending six seasons as an assistant and associate head coach with the Crusaders.

Series Notes: Valparaiso holds a 26-9 advantage in the all-time series over Youngstown State and had captured the first 10 meetings since joining the Horizon League, but YSU has responded with wins in each of the last two meetings, including an 80-68 win earlier this year in Youngstown. Kevin Van Wijk led the Crusaders with 14 points in the losing effort.
