Valparaiso University's Katie Urbas (Ballwin, Mo./Marquette H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Athlete of the Week after her performance in a pair of Crusader victories.

The junior posted four wins in the two meets. In a 147-115 victory over IUPUI on Friday, she won the 200 butterfly (2:13.80) by nearly five seconds, then registered her second win in the 500 freestyle (5:29.66). Urbas concluded the meet with a third place finish in the 200 individual medley (2:33.88) to help the Brown and Gold sweep the event.

The following day, Urbas led Valpo to a 140-121 victory with two more event wins. She began winning the 200 fly (2:16.44) for the second time in as many days, then brought home a victory in the 100 fly (1:02.94).
