Valparaiso University's Aaron Crague (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central H.S.) earned a tenth place finish in the 5,000m run at the Drake Relays on Thursday evening in DesMoines, Iowa.

The fifth-year senior crossed the finish line in a time of 14:37.32 on a cool, windy night. Crague was the only member of the Crusaders track and field team to compete at the meet.

Assistant coach and head cross country coach Mike Straubel also competed at the relays, placing 28th in the 800m Masters run with a time of 2:27.69.

The rest of the Valpo track and field team will compete on Friday and Saturday at the Boilermaker Open in West Lafayette, Ind.
