Valparaiso dropped a 121-93 decision at Ball State on Friday evening in men's swimming held in Muncie, Ind.

The Crusaders David Peterson (Schererville, Ind./Highland H.S.) registered a second and a half victory in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:01.81. Peterson also posted a win in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:15.39.

Neal Badgett (Houston, Texas/Strake Jesuit Prep H.S.) was the runner-up in 2:07.70 in the 200 butterfly for the Brown and Gold, while Bob Schmidt (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville H.S.) received credit for a second place finish in the 100 freestyle.

Valpo (1-4) will return to the pool on Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis, as the Crusaders travel to Butler to swim the Bulldogs and St. Louis.
