Valparaiso University men's tennis coach Jim Daugherty has announced the Crusaders 2004 spring schedule.

The Crusaders will open their 21-match season on January 17 at Ball State before travelling to Michigan State on February 1. Valpo's home season will begin indoors on February 13 against Wright State. A week later, the Brown and Gold will entertain Dayton as well, with both matches being played at the Northwest Athletic Club.

The Crusaders will take a spring trip to Florida for four matches in early March, before returning north for outdoor action.

Valpo will begin Mid-Continent Conference play with a cluster in Shreveport, La. on April 2-4 hosted by Centenary. The Crusaders will also host a cluster April 9-11 when UMKC, IUPUI, and Centenary all visit Brown Courts.

The 2004 Mid-Con Tournament is slated for April 16-17 in Tulsa, Okla., hosted by Oral Roberts.
