Valparaiso University will hold several summer softball clinics during the summer of 2004 at the Valparaiso University Softball Field.

The first, a Skills Camp, for ages 5-8, will take place Wednesday, June 23 from 9 a.m. until noon.

A pair of two day Fielding Clinics will be held on July 20 and 21. Grades 5-8 will play from 9 a.m. until noon, with grades 9-12 being instructed from 2-5 p.m. each day.

On August 9, a softball Strength and Conditioning Clinic will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for grades 9-12.

Valpo will also offer Pitching Clinics for various age groups. On August 10, grades 4-6 will take part in the clinic from 9 a.m. until noon, with grades 7-8 playing from 2-5 p.m. on the same day. A high school pitching clinic will take place on August 11. Beginners will be instructed from 9 a.m. until noon, with advanced pitchers seeing action from 2-5 p.m.

The final clinic of the summer is the Hitting Clinic on August 12-13. Grades 9-12 will hit from 9 a.m. until noon each day, with grades 4-8 going from 2-5 p.m.
