Valparaiso University men's soccer coach Mis' Mrak has announced his 2003 schedule featuring three matches against teams from the Big Ten.

The Crusaders will open their campaign at home on August 29 against Southwest Missouri State, before heading out on the road for a five-game stretch. During the road trip, Valpo will face Ohio State on September 19 in Columbus.

The Brown and Gold return home on September 26 for a match against Michigan State, one of six home contests at Eastgate Field this season. Valpo will open Mid-Continent Conference action at home on October 3 against UMKC, before hosting the newest Mid-Con member, Centenary, two days later.

The Crusaders will wrap-up their regular season on November 8 at Wisconsin. The Mid-Con Tournament is slated for November 14-16 in Rochester, Mich., with Oakland serving as the host. The top four teams will compete with the semifinals being held on Friday and the championship set for Sunday.
