Crusaders Announce 2004 Softball Schedule

Valparaiso University head softball coach Randy Schneider has announced his 2004 schedule, which will feature 11 home dates and 21 total home contests.

The Crusaders will open the season March 6-7 at the Indiana State Tournament. Valpo will then travel to IPFW for a doubleheader on March 16 before returning for their home on March 22 against Notre Dame in a single game. The Brown and Gold's non-conference schedule also includes road twinbills against Michigan State, Michigan, and Purdue.

Valpo will open Mid-Continent Conference play April 2-3 with a pair of doubleheaders at IUPUI before returning the next weekend for a pair against Oakland. The Crusaders regular season will conclude May 7-8 at Western Illinois.

The 2004 Mid-Continent Conference Tournament is set for May 14-15 in Macomb, Ill. hosted by Western Illinois.
