Crusaders Drop 6-0 Decision at Marquette

Valparaiso's men's tennis team fell 6-0 to Marquette on Saturday afternoon in a dual match held in Milwaukee, Wis.

The Golden Eagles won both first and second doubles to take the first point of the contest and swept the top five singles positions to win the match. Sixth singles and third doubles were not played.

Joe Venegas (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North H.S.) turned in Valpo's top performance, falling 6-2, 7-5 at the second spot in the line-up.

The Crusaders will return to the courts on Tuesday afternoon with a 3 p.m. CST at Butler.
