Rachel Janssen (Fort Wayne, Ind./Dwenger H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Week after leading the Crusaders to the Mid-Con Tournament title this past weekend.

The sophomore posted a win in the semifinals against Oral Roberts and the championship against Southern Utah at first singles for the Brown and Gold, both in straight sets. Janssen also teamed with Jill Dierberg (Saint Louis, Mo./Lutheran South H.S.) for a pair of victories at second doubles, both by 8-4 scores.

This is the second time Janssen has earned the conference honor, also doing so back on February 8.
