Valparaiso University's Lauren Moulton (Elgin, Ill./Larkin H.S.) has been named the Co-Women's Student Athlete of the Month by the Mid-Continent Conference for the month of September.

Moulton helped lead the Crusaders to a 12-3 record during the first month of the season. The junior averaged 3.30 kills and 1.22 blocks per game while hitting .282 for September. She registered 12 double-figure kill matches during Valpo's 15 contests.

Moulton also earned Mid-Con Offensive Player of the Week honors on September 27, and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Ball State Classic.
