Peterson Named Mid-Con Athlete of the Week in Men's Swimming and Diving

Valparaiso University sophomore David Peterson (Schererville, Ind./Highland H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Athlete of the Week after leading the Crusaders to a third place finish at the Florida International Invitational on Sunday.

He earned three top-six finishes in the meet, including a fourth in the 400 individual medley and sixth in the 100 breaststroke. He also swam leadoff on the third place 200 medley relay.
