Valpo Men and Women Earn NSCAA/addidas Team Academic Awards

Valparaiso University is one of 53 intercollegiate soccer programs of all divisions to have both its men's and women's soccer teams recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for posting a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2003-2004 academic year.

For this accomplishment, both teams received the NSCAA/addidas Team Academic Award for the second straight year.

Mis' Mrak's program is one of just 73 teams to earn the honor on the men's side. Valpo's men recorded a 3.15 team grade point average.

Stephen Anthony's women's squad tallied a 3.46 GPA and among 290 female programs to be recognized.
