Valparaiso University's Whitney Chada (Downers Grove, Ill./North H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Week after helping to lead the Crusaders to a perfect weekend and the Mid-Con regular season title.

The sophomore was 5-0 in singles play last week, winning four Mid-Con matches over the weekend. She was triumphant three times at third singles and twice at the fourth spot. Chada also teamed with Kate Evangelist (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West H.S.) at third doubles to post a perfect mark.

This is the second time Chada has been honored by the conference office this season, as she also claimed the award back on October 18.
