Brittany Marks (Elkhart, Ind./Memorial H.S.) is the Mid-Continent Conference Defensive Player of the Week after her strong performances last week.

Marks posted 12 of her 13 digs against #10 Notre Dame in the third game, a Valpo single-game high this season. The freshman libero also registered a team-high 15 digs as the Crusaders swept Oakland. Marks currently ranks fourth in the Mid-Con, averaging 5.00 digs/game in conference matches.

This is Marks' first career Mid-Con honor. In addition, she becomes the fifth different Crusaders to receive Mid-Con Player of the Week accolades this season.
