A Pair of Crusaders Compete at Augustana Friday

Valparaiso sent a pair of runners to the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana on Friday afternoon in Davenport, Iowa.

Tami McDunn (Farmington, Minn./Farmington H.S.) led the way with a 121st place effort with a time of 24:26 over the six-kilometer course. Joanne Borchert (Waukesha, Wis./West H.S.) finished 142nd with her time of 24:51.

The Crusaders did not have a team score with just two runners, as Olivet Nazarene won the team competition.

The rest of Valpo's runners will compete on Saturday at the Stanford Invitational beginning at 6:35 p.m. CDT.
