Valparaiso University's Mike Krieg (Romeo, Mich./Romeo H.S.) has been named the Pioneer Football League's Special Teams Player of the Week.

The redshirt-freshman made a pair of field goals as well as two extra points in the Crusaders' 20-7 season-ending victory over Aurora on Saturday. Krieg booted field goals of 28 and 37 yards, the latter a career long.

This is the second time Krieg earned the honor, having also been named Player of the Week following the Wisconsin Lutheran game.
