Valpo-UALR Baseball Postponed on Saturday
Game two of the series against UALR will have to wait another day. (Ray Acevedo) Saturday, February 28, 2009 Overnight rains made field conditions unplayable and a forecast for more inclement weather conditions in Little Rock, Ark. has forced the postponement of game two of the weekend series between Valparaiso and Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday afternoon. The two schools will make up the game on Sunday as part of a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. Both games on Sunday will be nine inning contests. Arkansas-Little Rock (4-2) defeated Valpo (2-1) in Friday night’s series opener 5-0, in a game that was started four-and-a-half hours late due to rain. |
