Tickets are now on sale at the Valparaiso University Athletic Ticket Office for Valparaiso’s Wednesday women’s basketball quarterfinal of the 2009 Speedway Horizon League Championships.

The Crusaders will be the fourth seed in the tournament, and host either Wright State or UIC at 7 p.m. at the ARC.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.  All Horizon League students are free with a valid student ID. 

The ticket office is open today (Friday) until 4 p.m. and will be open Monday-Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. by stopping in person or calling (219) 464-5233.  All tickets are general admission and will also be available at the door.  Online tickets are also available at www.etix.com 24 hours a day.  Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

This will be the first postseason tournament game the Crusaders (16-12, 10-7 Horizon League) have hosted since the quarterfinals of the 2002 WNIT, and the first home conference tournament game since the 1995 Mid-Continent Conference Tournament.
