           This week the Crusader volleyball team and both the men's and women's soccer teams return to campus looking to hit full stride as they prepare for the conference schedule. All Valpo squads are surely happy to once again have a home-field advantage after a rough week of quality competition.

           The volleyball team has its first conference match of the season against UIC on Wednesday at 7 pm in the ARC. After returning from the Golden Dome Invitational, the Crusaders are 7-4 on the season as they prepare for the Flames on Wednesday before a series of away matches against powerhouse conference teams in like DePaul and Kansas.

           On Friday, both soccer teams are in action. The Crusader women (3-3-1) take on the Green Bay Phoenix at 4 pm at Eastgate Field. The Crusader men (2-2-1) will be playing in the nightcap 7 pm match against IUPUI at Brown Field. This match will also be broadcast live with a video stream on the Horizon League Network.
