Valparaiso men’s and women’s track and field head coach Ryan Moore announced today the indoor and outdoor schedules for the Crusaders’ 2011-2012 season.

Valpo is slated to open the indoor campaign with its first of two meets at IPFW on Saturday, Dec. 3.  The Crusaders are also scheduled to run during the indoor season at Lewis, Grand Valley State (twice), Indiana, Notre Dame and Purdue prior to the 2012 Horizon League Indoor Championships, which will be hosted by Youngstown State on Feb. 25-26.

The outdoor schedule begins at the SIU Spring Classic on Saturday, Mar. 24.  Other destinations for the Crusaders during the outdoor season, include Purdue (twice), DePauw, Eastern Michigan and Grand Valley State, while qualifying athletes could also compete at Stanford and at Drake.  The Horizon League Outdoor Championships will be contested May 4-6 at Lewis University, with UIC serving as the host institution.
