ESPN's Andy Katz at Valpo Thursday
Wednesday, November 02, 2011 On Thursday, as the men's basketball team plays their second and final exhibition of the season against Augustana, students will get the rare opportunity to dine with college basketball analyst Andy Katz and an ESPN film crew, as they will be in attendance to get footage for a SportsCenter feature on the Drew family.
Katz is one of the preeminent voices of men's hoops and is ESPN's senior writer on college basketball. Besides his famous journalistic endeavors, Katz commonly appears on several talk shows across the ESPN family of networks including SportsCenter, SportsNation, Mike and Mike in the Morning, Pardon the Interruption, College Game Night, and NBA draft coverage. Katz also has his own daily college basketball show on ESPNU, Katz's Corner.
Be sure to come to Thursday's game early and visit the student VIP lounge where Katz will make an appearance, talk to students, and shoot footage for the ESPN feature. The dinner will open at 6 PM, one hour before tipoff |
