Big Weekend for Crusader Basketball
Friday, January 13, 2012
The Crusader men's basketball team returns home this week with two huge matchups. Valpo has played a tough road schedule in the early going, but have played very well with notable road victories against Butler and Detroit, two of the toughest places to play in the conference.
The Crusaders look to continue to climb the Horizon League standings by taking on two of the conference's best Youngstown State on Friday at 7:05 and Cleveland State on Sunday at 1:35.
The ValparaiZone will need to come out in big numbers to support the Crusaders in perhaps the most important weekend of the season. If Valpo wins both games, they will at the very least be tied at the top of the conference. With huge stakes on the line, be sure to support the Crusaders in their pursuit of a Horizon League Championship.
Remember to get there early for the $5 pregame meal, below is this weekend's menu:
Friday: Potato Cakes, Popcorn Chicken, Buffalo Popcorn Chicken, Bottleneck Fries, Jalapeno Poppers, 4 bean salad, Brownies, Lemonade, Water
Sunday: Choice of Pasta: Veggies and Penne Pasta or Meat Mostaccioli, Mini Meatballs, Mini Pizza bites, Bread Sticks, Brownies, Fruit Punch, Water
