Sarah Drozdowski (Roselle, Ill./Lake Park) brought home a pair of top-five finishes for the women’s track and field team at the Redbird Open at Illinois State on Saturday.

Drozdowski’s distance in the weight throw of 16.75 meters was a season-best and good enough for fourth place. It was also the third-best mark  in school history.

She took fifth in the shot put with a distance of 12.22 meters.

The track and field teams return to action at the Bob Eubanks Open on Friday, Jan. 11 in Allendale, Mich.
