Junior Tabitha Gerardot (Fort Wayne, Ind./Canterbury) earned her second Horizon League Player of the Week honors of the season in posting a double-double to help the Crusaders to a 67-59 win over Youngstown State.

Gerardot scored 26 points and tied her career-best with 17 rebounds against the Penguins. The double-double was her third of the season and the 16^th of her career.

She shot 9-of-13 from the field. Gerardot scored 15 of her points in the second half, including nine in a row during an 11-0 run that gave Valparaiso the lead for good.

Gerardot also earned HL Player of the Week honors for posting a double-double (28 points, 17 rebounds) against Ball State.

Valparaiso (6-8, 1-0 HL), which has won three consecutive games, finishes a four-game home stand on Wednesday, when the Crusaders host Loyola at 7:05 p.m.
